Bio
Maureen Lowman is the Managing Director of the Global IT Project/Program Management Office (PMO) at Omnicom Group, a fortune 500 media, marketing, and communications company. Omnicom’s branded networks and firms provide services in four disciplines: advertising, customer relationship management, public relations, and specialty services.
Maureen is an accomplished leader with extensive experience in strategic planning, technology portfolio management, marketing technology, and digital transformation. Since joining Omnicom Group in 2022, Maureen has been instrumental in elevating the impact of the Global Technology Program Management Office through executive alignment and building a global model of operational excellence and PMO governance.
Prior to joining Omnicom, Maureen held leadership roles, where she built a track record as a trusted partner to C-Suite Executives and cross-functional global teams. These roles included Director -PMO Brand Strategy (Grubhub), Director – PMO Information Security and Compliance (Sema4-Biotech), and Director – Global Marketing Technology (Oxford University Press). The greatest amount of her career was spent at HBO, Inc. There she held significant leadership roles, leading B2B digital transformation and conversion initiatives, marketing operations, customer database research, and strategic analysis. She developed HBO’s first scalable centralized portal for digital assets, which was recognized as, “Best Work in Digital 2013,” by Interbrand.
Maureen holds two Masters of Science (MS) Degrees, MS in Information Systems and Technology Management from Marist College, and MS in Social and Market Research from Hunter College. She received her Bachelor of Arts Degree from The Pennsylvania State University (Penn State). She is also a certified Project Management Professional (PMP).
Maureen is a proud alumna of the NYC Summer Youth Employment Program (SYEP), she attributes the program to shaping her early professional mindset. SYEP provided valuable work experience and essential summer earnings, igniting her curiosity about the skills and requirements needed to obtain a professional job. Today, she brings that full-circle perspective to her role on the Corporate Board of A Better Tomorrow (ABT), where she leverages both her corporate leadership and personal journey to help prepare students for meaningful summer employment and long-term success.
